Todays devlts, committees have been formed. By monday the staff incharges for each committee will be known.
Pls go thro this and in case of any clarification or query post it in the comments column at the end of the blog.

Instructions common to all committees

• Incharge of conducting this event
• Getting the mikes, stages, banners, certificates etc. Taking care of the judges, their transport mementoes bouquets all will have to be done.

Decoration Committee
Incharge of decorating the stages for inauguration, putting up sign boards from the entrance of the college, decoration of auditorium,department etc. Putting up banners at prominent location of the college.

Paper Presentation Committee
Incharge of conducting this event. This is going to be the main event of the symposium and that’s the reason why we have given it to ppl who have some exposure in this line. As for the work, u will have to take charge of the whole event. From shortlisting the paper to contacting the persons whose abstracts are selected regd transport and hospitality. This committee will be supervised along with the main six office bearers. Getting the mikes, stages, banners, certificates etc. Taking care of the judges, their transport mementoes bouquets all will have to be done.

Technical Quiz Committee
Incharge of framing questions for prelims, shortlisting finalists and conducting the quiz. Questions must be of good standard. Only talented guys ll get thro. We plan to conduct prelims online and shortlist candidates.

General Quiz Committee
Same as Technical quiz. We plan to throw this event open to SSNites barring our dept. Its most likely that some guy from CEG or IITM will conduct it.

Incharge of the participants hospitality, as in they will come to u with all sorts of clarifications tanging from how to register where to register, where is this event on, how abt the transport and stuff. U ll be Incharge of that.

Informals Committee
Conducting informal events near physics lab where we are going to have shamianas ( the place where lunch was organized last time) and no judges for this event, just to attract some crowd from ssnites and engage others so that they dont create a ruckus inside the paper presentation sessions. u may not have to engage for more than 2 hours or so.
